Dr. Tomini is an accomplished professional with extensive experience and knowledge in strategic human resource management who has assisted more than 30 organizations world-wide, including Gateway, TD Canada Trust, Canadian Tire Corporation and Tim Hortons, in the design, development and implementation of state-of-the-art leadership and organizational development programs and initiatives. A conceptual, organized and results-oriented team player who is able to build relationships and is dedicated to assisting an organization achieve its mission and goals through effective and strategic human resource management.
She is a Psychologist practicing in the area of Industrial/Organizational Psychology who has been consulting to organizations in both the public and private sector for more than 20 years. In particular, she has worked in the area of pharmaceuticals, financial services, high tech, retail, manufacturing sectors and public safety, among others. In addition to her consulting experience, she has several years of industry experience in a senior HR leadership role with AstraZeneca and GlaxoSmithKline. Her expertise in selection includes psychological assessments, interviewing skills, employee selection, occupational testing, personality and skill assessments, simulations and assessment centres. She has also worked in other areas such as mergers and acquisitions, training design and delivery, management and executive development, team development, succession planning and performance management. Dr. Tomini also has extensive experience in psychometric measurement and statistical analysis. Dr. Tomini holds a Ph.D. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Windsor, is aregistered Psychologist with The College of Psychologists of Ontario, holds her CHRP designation with HRPAO and has her RRP desigination with VRA Canada.
In addition to her industry experience, she is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Waterloo. She has presented at more than 25 conferences on various topics including selection and testing, employee motivation, performance management, succession planning, and management development. Dr. Tomini is a member of the American and Canadian Psychological Associations, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the Human Resources Professionals Association of Ontario and was the President for the Canadian Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 1997-1998. She has also been quoted by the media, including national publications such as Workplace News, the Edmonton Journal and Your Office Magazine.
Eleonore Zanette, Hons.B.A., M.Ed., RRP, MCVP has been employed in the field of vocational rehabilitation since 1975. She has extensive experience working with clients injured in motor vehicle accidents as well as those suffering from various other medical, emotional and physical disabilities. Ms. Zanette has obtained the qualifications of Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association of Canada. She is also a member in good standing with the Vocational Rehabilitation Association (VRA), and is also a professional member of the Canadian Assessment Vocational Evaluation and Work Adjustment Society (CAVEWAS). She is also a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). She also holds a Master’s Certificate Vocational Professional, College of Vocational Rehabilitation Professionals. Ms. Zanette holds a Master of Education degree in Counselling from the University of Windsor. She has completed numerous courses on career and vocational counseling. Ms. Zanette is currently working as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist as well as a Psychometrist/Vocational Assessor.
Michael Toal, M.A., RRP, has over 20 years of experience as a Psycho-Vocational Test Administrator and extensive experience working with a wide range of adult learners. Michael has worked in a number of industries, including telecommunications, transportation and financial services. In addition to his expertise in adult learning, Michael has worked as a Manager and Senior Manager in a number of different departments, including Human Resources, where he gained extensive experience in candidate interviewing. As well, he has many years experience with various types of test administration and scoring. Michael has a Master’s Degree in Adult and College Education from Central Michigan University, as well as an Honours Degree in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Windsor.
Rupa Parakh, MASc, RRP has her Master’s degree in Neuropsychology with comprehensive background in psychometric testing and reporting. She is also a Registered Rehabilitation Professional (RRP) with VRA Canada. She has extensive experience testing brain injured populations and able to modify testing environment to maximize subject performance. She is skilled in client interviewing and file reviews, as well as a large range of neuropsychological tests. She has a strong research background including design and data analysis across a range of ages and ability levels; and is able to present data in a clear, concise manner. She is organized and efficient with excellent writing and communication skills. She is able to generate creative, multi-disciplinary approaches to transfer recommendations and strategies between collaborating departments.
Jeffrey Karp, Psy.D., C.Psych. is a registered psychologist in the province of Ontario (Certificate #4623). For the record, he is duly qualified to practice clinical and rehabilitation psychology, which includes psychological, psychovocational, fitness to work/fitness for duty, substance abuse, and psychoeducational assessments. He graduated with a doctorate in clinical psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in 2007 and in 1989 he completed an MA in counseling psychology at Simon Fraser University. Furthermore he completed an internship in vocational rehabilitation at the University of Wisconsin in 1990.
As a rehabilitation counselor, and more recently as a clinical and rehabilitation psychologist, Dr. Karp has over 20 years’ experience in rehabilitation with particular expertise in vocational rehabilitation, disability management, and fitness for work. He is also a member in good standing of the Ontario Psychological Association, the International Association of Chiefs of Police, and the Society for Police and Criminal Psychology.
Paul McLeod, B.A. is in charge of documentation and quality control. He has over 11 years of experience as a Psycho-Vocational Test Administrator and report writier. In addition, for over nine years he has been a member of the Mental Health First Response Team with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent branch. In this role, he provides front line community based crisis intervention supports for individuals with mental health, housing and addictions needs. He conducts comprehensive mental health and suicide risk assessments. He also provides brief mental health services, suicide interventions, community outreach, family supports, and general information and referral services. He provides a centralized intake service for all ministry funded mental health and addictions services and supports throughout the community of Chatham Kent. Paul has an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Degree in Dramatic Arts, from the University of Windsor.
